Abstract: This research aims to explore neuroscientific perspectives on early childhood brain development, focusing on implications for educational practices in Nigeria. The objective is threefold: first, to synthesize current literature on brain development neuroscience; second, to examine how these insights translate into effective teaching strategies; and third, to propose evidence-based recommendations for optimizing early childhood learning environments. Using a survey research design, this study justifies its approach by surveying neuroscientists, pediatricians, and ECE specialists to gather expert opinions and empirical data. A purposive sample size of 150 respondents ensures representation from key stakeholders across various states in Nigeria, reflecting diverse socio-economic and cultural contexts. Enugu State is selected as a case study due to its emerging educational initiatives and diverse population. The reliability coefficient score will assess the consistency of responses and findings. Results are expected to uncover critical links between early brain development and educational outcomes, informing policy and practice to support optimal neurodevelopment in early childhood.
